Latest News in 2008 from GB RacingYou Gotta Laugh .. Sometimes!!2008 is upon us & progress on rebuilding the mortally injured 357 Cleveland is slow! Following some serious surgery to the crankshaft & engine block (8 shiny new liners) our attentions have been turned to preparing a pair of new cylinder heads. These require many hours on the milling machine, welding, more milling, then they are off for more treatment, valve guides, valve seats etc. As I have mentioned, work is slow, but meticulous, as we are not in a position to race with the risk of damage, as last season broke the Bank, not to mention team morale !! This rebuild is a truly international effort with information coming from Australian
engine builder Terry Parker, who specialises in making the Small Block Ford Engine fly. He
also manufactures Hi-Performance intake manifolds for Ford engines. If you are running a
ford & are frustrated by the lack of info available for these antiques, check out
Terry's website & some of the links from it. Thanks also goes to Dave Powell at Performance Unlimited for his input & help with
sourcing parts for us.
