Team Profile - GB Racing
Chris GrayJoint owner & crew chief Chris Gray has spent many years in and around the sport of Drag Racing. His first experience was in the 1960's as a spectator at Santa Pod Raceway & other venues such as Camberly & Blackbushe which were runways converted into dragstrips for the "week-end warriors". He continued spectating until the mid 80's when along with Marius Blackburn "G & B Racing "was formed. 1986 saw the debut of the Ford Mustang which is documented elsewere on this site. Chris is an engineer by trade & this is showcased by many of the "one-off" items used on the current car & indeed a few other teams also use stuff made by him. A change of direction has recently seen Chris change his job to become "a gentleman of the road " [read truck driver!] but he still keeps up to date with the dirty bits, making & doing anything that is required to our 20th Anniversary Tour a good one!
